Join a Leading Organisation in the Nuclear Industry Role Details: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support the efficient operation of our Renfrew office. This role is central to maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-functioning workplace for over 400 staff. The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance activities, manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement across all aspects of facilities management. Main Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance and Repairs * Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and reactive works. * Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. * Conduct regular building inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively. Safety and Compliance * Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies. * Coordinate statutory inspections and remedial actions. * Support the implementation and communication of emergency preparedness plans. Vendor and Contract Management * Source, evaluate, and manage vendors for facilities-related services. * Negotiate and review service agreements and contracts. * Monitor vendor performance and address service issues as required. Cost Control and Reporting * Track facilities-related expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Provide regular and ad hoc reports on facilities performance and costs. * Support procurement processes including raising requisitions and invoice reconciliation. Communication and Collaboration * Act as the first point of contact for facilities-related queries and service requests. * Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers. * Communicate updates and planned works to staff and stakeholders Key Requirements: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities or estates management. * Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance, and safety compliance. * Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. * Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. * Proficient in MS Office Suite and facilities management systems. * Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines. * A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail
