Overview
Hybrid – North of England. A global financial services organisation is building cloud-native identity services and is seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to deliver secure, scalable IAM workflows. This role focuses on identity APIs, event-driven architectures and automation on GCP, supporting enterprise identity and access operations at scale.
Responsibilities
* Build identity orchestration workflows on Google Cloud
* Design and develop secure APIs for identity and access services
* Develop cloud-native services on Cloud Run, Cloud Functions or GKE
* Automate IAM and cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD
Qualifications
* Strong, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Proven delivery of cloud-native APIs and services on GCP
* Experience with Pub/Sub, event-driven architectures and async workflows
* Solid understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT and identity federation
* Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform)
* Security-first mindset and strong problem-solving skills
