Job Title: Qualified Early Years Practitioner - Private Day Nursery (Permanent Role)

Location: Adel, Leeds

Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent


About This Job

Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioner looking for your next challenge? Do you have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework, and the confidence to bring fresh ideas to a nurturing, supportive team?

Our client, a well-established private day nursery in the heart of Adel, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to join their close-knit team on a permanent basis.


About The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of experience in early years settings who's ready to take ownership, drive best practice, and help shape the future of a thriving nursery.


Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the prime and specific areas of learning
* Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and carers
* Monitor, assess, and record children's progress using observation and planning cycles
* Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
* Work collaboratively with the team, sharing best practice and new ideas
* Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
* Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times


Requirements

* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or above)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an Early Years setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements
* Confident, proactive, and passionate about early years education
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, but also take initiative
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
