The role involves engaging in conversations to understand customer needs, providing information about our savings range, products, and services. You will help customers review their circumstances and goals while delivering a straightforward, helpful service that showcases your enthusiasm and professionalism.
Our branches are community hubs, but we also support customers online and via contact centers, reaching them at relevant times. Whether promoting new products or resolving issues, your focus will always be on customer needs and delivering first-class service.
As a Customer Consultant, you will be more than just the face and voice of Skipton; you will be a listener, problem solver, and a knowledgeable guide to help customers achieve their financial goals.

What Will You Be Doing?
* Be the first point of contact, welcoming customers warmly both in-branch and over the phone.
* Ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Listen carefully to each customer’s circumstances and offer personalized solutions.
* Proactively reach out to customers via phone to identify needs and support them.
* Maintain accurate customer records, especially supporting vulnerable customers.
* Follow policies and standards, supported by comprehensive training.
What Do We Need From You?
* Experience interacting with customers, whether in banking, retail, food & beverage, guest services, healthcare, or other sectors. Passion for delivering exceptional service is key.
* Ability to work well in a team and handle a variety of customers with good time management.
* Adaptability and willingness to grow and change with business needs.

The role is permanent, working 36 hours weekly, Monday to Saturday. Salary: £23,600 per annum plus Area Allowance of £5,200 per annum. Benefits include:
