Key Responsibilities
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, with experience in an assembly engineering environment.
* 3-5 years of experience.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* UK local nationals.
* Knowledge of Airbus process and methods, understanding of SOIs.
* Strong technical knowledge of assembly processes, including fasteners, structural hardware, drilling, bolting, corrosion protection, and fuel tank sealing.
* Confident in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, with a solid understanding of wing structure, build processes, and M&P qualification procedures.
* Knowledge of Aircraft wings, understanding of the machining and assembly tolerance achievement and cost implications.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* CATIA V5 tool knowledge is an added advantage.
* Able to work independently and engage with client technical approvers.
