About the role Join our Workshop Team to repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, gearboxes, and drive systems. Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and health & safety standards. What you will be responsible for : Overhaul mechanical assets including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and drive units. Interpret mechanical technical drawings and repair assets to manufacturer specifications. Recommend upgrades and cost-effective solutions to operational colleagues. Provide on-site technical assistance and advice over the phone when. Operate machine tools such as lathes, drills, and milling machines. Work in an organised manner with health and safety as a priority. Additional Requirements Occasional cover at other sites may be. What you’ll bring to the role: Essential Level 3 NVQ in a mechanical discipline or equivalent. Experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Experience operating machine tools (lathes, drills, milling machines). Background as a fitter-turner or similar industrial apprenticeship.
