The Opportunity
In this role you will provide excellent service to the Group Procurement function through providing clear, accurate and insightful analysis to enable Samworth Brothers to accelerate financial delivery and protect the business from risk. Continuously challenging and improving systems and processes to enable the business to retain its competitive advantage.
* Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of:- Procurement Forecasting Models, Procurement Forecasting Analytics - including PBI models, as well as key market trends, Procurement Spend databases, Monthly Procurement Team KPI decks.
* Insight provision to Procurement Teams around their KPI's
* Various ad-hoc analyses as required by key stakeholder groups
The Ideal Candidate

* Minimum 12 months experience of working in an FMCG Environment or working in an analytical role
* Strong analytical skills with ability to manipulate and provide insight from large and varied volumes of data
* Good presentation skills
* Good communication and business partnering skills
* Ability to translate complex information into understandable actionable insight
* Proactive approach to improving analytical, procurement and business processes
* Microsoft Office literate with specific advanced knowledge of Excel
* Familiarity with data reporting tools such as Power BI preferable
* Understanding of complex databases and analytics
