Location: Hybrid; Home/ Lookers Head Office North East (Maingate TVTE)
Working hours: 37.5; Monday- Friday 09:00-17:00
Salary: £23,000- £25,000
Helen Gallimore (Group Credit Control Manager) is on the hunt for a ‘Group Credit Controller’ to come and join her well established team within a hybrid role.
Working alongside two Group Credit Controllers and a Group Ledger Administrator, in the role you will be responsible for managing credit risk and debt recovery across the wider Lookers Group. Your core stakeholders will include our dealership and head office finance teams where you will develop and embed policy, evolve best practice, ensure a consistent approach as well as produce value add management information. The whole premise of the role focuses on minimising risk and ensuring our Group’s Credit Control Policy is adhered to.
Responsibilities
1. Designing and implementing credit risk policy across the Lookers Group whilst also controlling all credit decisions
2. Managing and maintaining the group’s master debtor file and creditor file
3. Developing and implementing group wide sales ledger and debt management information and distributing management information on a monthly basis
4. Group fleet credit control and vehicle debt recovery
Qualifications
We are on the hunt for a candidate who has prior Credit Control experience, this is your opportunity to put your Credit Control expertise to this test!
It is essential that you have the appetite to be an integral part of our team responsible for delivering meaningful change. You must also have the flair in delivering 1st class customer service! We are also looking for an individual who is confident in using all Microsoft Office applications, if you also have Kerridge experience that’s extra ticks for you (however, don’t worry this isn’t essential!).
