Job Opportunity: Customs Administrator
We are supporting our client in Coventry, seeking a Customs Administrator. The role will be based in Hinckley for 1-2 weeks until the site relocates in June.
Working with a team of highly experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills daily.
Shift Pattern
* Monday to Friday – 08:30-17:00
Responsibilities include:
* Answering incoming calls and emails from internal and external customers
* Completing all daily reports promptly, including client and internal reports to meet or exceed SLAs
* Receiving pre-advice and shipping documents from carriers and creating internal references in the WMS system
* Providing clearance instructions to agents, ensuring all paperwork is correct, and following up on any discrepancies or missing documents
* Checking customs entries and updating the Daybook with shipment details, including weight, quantity, and value
* Maintaining records in compliance with HMRC regulations on bonded warehouse processes
* Ensuring timely and accurate completion of daily/weekly reports
* Liaising daily with other departments
* Demonstrating strong administration skills, including proficiency in MS Office
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP (ESSENTIAL)
* Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and precision in reporting
