Mickey's World Early Learning Centre is a vibrant and nurturing early childhood education centre located in the heart of Bankstown, NSW. We are a well-established service and have been in operation for 15 years and are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Centre Director to lead our team and continue our mission of creating a safe, inspiring, and high‑quality learning environment for children and families.
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
A minimum of 3-5 years of early childhood centre management experience is required.
About the Role
As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the centre — ensuring compliance, educational excellence, strong family relationships, and a thriving team culture. You'll lead by example, mentor educators, and build a joyful, professional, and child‑centred.
Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
A valid Working with Children Check must be obtained before commencing employment.
Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day operations of the service in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
* Lead, coach, and support a team of educators to deliver high‑quality programs.
* Develop and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Build and nurture positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
* Manage budgets, staffing, enrolments, and occupancy targets.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and playful learning environment that prioritises every child’s wellbeing.
* Lead by example to promote a positive, supportive, and professional workplace culture.
About You
* 3+ years’ experience as a Centre Director or in a similar leadership role.
* Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved).
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection certifications.
* Strong understanding of NQF, NQS, and EYLF standards.
* Proven experience in managing service budgets, compliance, and operations.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
* A deep passion for creating safe, engaging, and play‑based learning environments.
