Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
To manage and improve the performance of selected dedicated Service Strategic Accounts in cooperation with the relevant service operational teams.To own the quality-of-service delivery to the account, including the monitoring of agreed key performance indicators. To ensure account longevity and to maximise account potential and financial improvement. (Account profitability).
Responsibilities
To manage and take responsibility for account growth and the renewal process.
Actively manage and develop client relationships to maximize sales potential and develop business.
Drive and manage relationships with defined National Key Accounts b) Drive relationships with local stakeholders working for Global/EMEA key accounts in alignment with Global/EMEA Key Account Manager
To manage the commercial and financial administration of the account.
To establish Vertiv as a supplier of choice and establish sustainable long-term relationships with influencers and decision makers in this segment.
Develop account plans with each allocated account to identify spend per LOB, Key Stakeholders, Organization Structure, with the aim to define a growth strategy for this year and the coming years.
Identify projects as early as possible in the customers buying phase and attempt to influence the customer in favor of Vertiv products and offerings, support will be available via technical support teams within UK.
Report on status of ongoing relationships and projects frequently, advising on status and likely timing of order placement, sales, and forecasts at frequent pipeline review meetings.
Identify business opportunities and make recommendations to your customers.
Use Oracle Sales Cloud to record all new business opportunities.
Issue Life Cycle Planners to each of your customers' accounts.
Hold regular face to face meetings with your customers
Qualifications
Proven organisational skills ~ able to prioritise workloads, incl. the ability to multitask effectively.
Proven people management skills ~ able to coach, lead and motivate the team.
Possessing a high level of commercial acumen and the ability to understand clients.
Processes and business objectives.
Self-motivated and business focused with excellent communications skills.
The role is home based but may require some travel to the various offices and customer sites.
