This full time permanent post based at Archipelago Offices at Frimley (location subject to change) is an exciting opportunity for a highly literate and public procurement-competent individual to support the delivery of a significant programme of change within the Trust.
As part of the team, you will be purchasing goods and services within the Capital Projects category across the Trust. You will be required to purchase effectively, economically and in accordance with the Trust Standing Financial Instructions, demonstrating best value for money for the taxpayer.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Procurement team, you will relish the opportunity to provide advice on procurement and supplies matters and be responsible for consistently demonstrating best value for money by supporting the effective sourcing of goods and services.
Have detailed knowledge both of the capabilities of all the Trust\'s regular suppliers and of where goods not available through normal supply sources may be obtained.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Desire to achieve/ undertake CIPS or similar
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience
* Demonstrable experience of purchasing, particularly capital and/or non-clinical
* Experience over 2 years delivering capital projects
* Experience of buying within the NHS (any area or category)
* Experience of processing and obtaining PAQ\'s, PPQ\'s, URN\'s or similar
* Experience of Public Sector regulations (PCR2015)
Skills & Knowledge
* Familiar with MS Office products
* Knowledge of related products and services
* Interpersonal skills with ability to absorb information
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Numerate and able to receive information
* Flexible approach to duties
* Working knowledge of eProc and eFin
