Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to set a new standard for treating calcified cardiovascular disease using Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL). We are seeking a dedicated professional to support and grow our portfolio within the specified territory.
Position Overview
The Regional Account Manager will provide clinical support and manage all products within Shockwave’s portfolio. The role requires building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals across Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and Vascular Surgery, emphasizing clinical excellence and comprehensive disease area knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop expert knowledge of the Shockwave IVL portfolio and be recognized as a product expert by customers.
* Maintain a strong understanding of the wider disease area, including devices used for calcium modification.
* Translate clinical data into physician and patient benefits, ensuring appropriate use of Shockwave IVL.
* Collaborate with internal teams and NHS partners to facilitate access to new technologies.
* Develop and execute territory business plans.
* Report progress through the Quarterly Business Review process, including product performance, adoption levels, and customer feedback.
* Assist in forecasting and setting business goals with the marketing team.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
* Adhere to company policies for safety and compliance.
* Provide detailed expense reports monthly.
Requirements
* Native or bilingual English proficiency; additional European languages are a plus.
* Experience in the medical device market, particularly in Interventional Cardiology, Radiology, or Vascular Surgery.
* Understanding of NHS processes and access facilitation for new technologies.
* Proven track record of commercial success and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to spend 90%+ of time in accounts within or near the territory.
