COURT OF PROTECTION/PERSONAL INJURY SPECIALIST BDM

This is a genuinely specialist role, and a rare one. Our client is one of the UK's most respected discretionary wealth management and financial planning businesses, with a strong national presence and a well-established Court of Protection/Personal Injury offering. They are looking for an exceptional individual to take ownership of and grow this proposition across the North of England.
If you have deep expertise in Court of Protection/Personal Injury work, whether as an investment manager, financial planner, lawyer, or specialist BDM, and you understand what deputies and personal injury lawyers need from a wealth management partner, this could be a genuinely exciting next step.
The role:
* Own and execute the annual business plan for the Court of Protection proposition, identifying opportunities to deepen and expand relationships with deputies and personal injury lawyers across the North
* Act as the lead specialist and spokesperson for the proposition, bringing together the best regional expertise to pitch for new business
* Collaborate on proposition design, pricing, and promotion to ensure the offering remains market-leading and client-appropriate
* Seek continual improvements to the proposition and contribute to its development in line with regulatory expectations including Consumer Duty
* Develop and deliver training on Court of Protection services across the wider business
What we're looking for:
* A proven track record working with deputies and personal injury lawyers - whether as a lawyer, investment manager, financial planner, or in a specialist business development capacity
* Business development experience with strong presentation, pitching, and interpersonal skills
* Relevant professional qualifications
* Highly collaborative, with significant gravitas and the ability to engage credibly at a senior level
* Numerical, with a strong understanding of pricing within the personal injury wealth management space
