Castle Education are delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school near York. Known for its supportive ethos and commitment to helping every child flourish, this school is now seeking a caring and proactive Teaching and Learning Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils’ learning, development and confidence throughout the school day
* Working closely with class teachers to create a fun and engaging learning environment
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
* Encouraging independence, creativity and emotional wellbeing
* Helping pupils feel safe, valued and motivated to succeed
* Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues
Requirements
* Experienced in working with children (in school or a similar setting)
* A positive, proactive team player with a can-do attitude
* A clear communicator who can adapt to different situations
* Patient, flexible and genuinely passionate about helping young people thrive
