Role Overview: BMS Service Engineer (Tridium, Senior Level)
This is a senior-level
BMS Service Engineer
position focused on servicing, maintaining, and optimising
Tridium Niagara-based control systems
within critical infrastructure sites. You'll be the go-to technical expert on-site, ensuring reliability and efficiency of BMS operations in data centre environments. Additionally, you will play an active role in
guiding and mentoring junior engineers
, sharing your expertise to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Service, maintain, and optimise
Tridium Niagara-based BMS systems
within critical data centre environments.
· Conduct planned preventative maintenance and rapid-response reactive support for high-priority systems.
· Analyse system performance and implement improvements to enhance operational resilience.
· Lead on-site technical activities, troubleshooting, and escalations.
· Provide
guidance, support, and mentoring
to junior engineers within the service team.
· Collaborate closely with data centre operations teams to coordinate maintenance and minimise downtime.
· Document all service work accurately in line with site protocols and compliance standards.
· Ensure all work adheres to strict
security and health & safety procedures
typical of critical sites.
Key Requirements:
·
Extensive experience with Tridium Niagara
BMS systems (certification strongly preferred).
· Proven background as a
BMS Service Engineer
within critical or high-security environments (data centres, hospitals, labs, etc.).
· In-depth understanding of
HVAC systems, electrical services, and BMS networking
.
· Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead by example on technical best practices.
· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills under pressure in critical facilities.
· Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
· Full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover sites from
West London through the Southwest
.
Package:
· Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000
(depending on experience).
· Car allowance.
