EYFS Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Location: Acocks Green, Birmingham (B27)
Daily Rate: £105 - £115 per day
Contract: Long Term to Permanent
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Commutable from: Hall Green, Tyseley, Yardley, Olton, Sparkhill, Solihull, Bordesley Green, Shirley, Moseley, Small Heath
We're looking for a nurturing, patient and proactive individual to join a friendly and inclusive setting at a welcoming primary school in Acocks Green as an Early Years TA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEND to make meaningful progress in a safe, stimulating and caring environment.
Your Day-to-Day:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils in Nursery and Reception with additional learning or developmental needs.
Implement EHCPs and adapt activities to suit each child's individual learning style and ability.
Support pupils with communication, sensory and emotional regulation through structured play and visual routines.
Encourage social interaction, independence and early language development.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality support.
Create a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and confident to explore and learn.
Assist with observations and progress tracking to support children's EYFS development goals.About You:
Hold a Level 3 Early Years Education or Childcare qualification (or above).
Have experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally supporting pupils with SEND such as autism, speech and language delay or developmental delay.
Calm, patient and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping young children flourish.
Confident in using strategies to support emotional regulation and communication.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and positive attitude.
A solid understanding of EYFS frameworks, child development and inclusive practice.Why Work With Long Term Futures:
