We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a busy finance team where youll gain strong all-round exposure across transactional and month-end accounting duties." About the Company Our client is a well-established organisation with a collaborative finance function. The business offers a supportive working environment where team members are encouraged to develop their skills and broaden their experience across multiple areas of finance. This role provides excellent exposure for someone looking to progress their accounting career within a structured and professional setting. About the Job Working as part of the finance team, the Finance Administrator will support key finance activities and assist with the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations while gaining exposure to month-end processes. Key responsibilities Assist with processing purchase invoices and matching GRNs/POs Reconcile supplier statements Resolve supplier queries Assist with payment runs Prepare prepayments and accrual schedules Assist with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end journal preparations Maintain accurate records of credit card spend and complete necessary reconciliations Maintain fixed asset register Serve as a point of contact for finance-related queries Support wider finance tasks and contribute to continuous process improvement Adhoc duties as and when required Previous experience Qualified Accounting Technician, IATI, AAT or working towards qualification Relevant experience working in a busy Finance department Strong Excel Skills Computer literate and competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence Skills: Accounts Payable Bank Reconciliation Bookkeeping Accounts
