We are seeking a full-time Tenancy Support Worker to join our Tenancy Support and Employability Team. Our vision is ‘To provide a bespoke support package for customers, designed to assist with financial capability, life skills, and the competencies necessary to adhere to tenancy conditions and contribute positively to their community’.
You will work flexibly across our customer base, supporting individuals in a way that best meets their needs. Your knowledge of debt negotiation, coaching skills, and passion to make a difference are essential when putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.
This role involves visiting customers in their homes, so a driving license and access to a vehicle are required. You will thrive on variety, demonstrating your relationship-building skills by visiting customers, liaising with other agencies, and developing SMART action plans.
Strong organizational skills will help you manage a heavy workload, stay updated on legislation, and maintain accurate records.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting customers to maximize their income, including completing benefit applications.
2. Liaising with other agencies to help customers achieve their SMART action plan goals.
3. Supporting or carrying out debt negotiations on behalf of customers.
4. Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.
5. Staying informed about benefit and legislative changes and communicating these effectively.
6. Maintaining accurate records on the Orchard/CRM system, adhering to GDPR guidelines.

Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, paid monthly. Benefits include 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days at Christmas. We offer flexibility to meet business needs.
