Your Mission
The Senior Sales Manager – UK + Europe, reporting directly to the VP of Sales, will be a self-motivated, service-driven professional. The role involves cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with senior clients within the Maritime & Shipping sectors in the region.
Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, achieving sales targets for the Marlink Group, and exploring new opportunities in regions with limited visibility and resources to enhance Marlink’s market position.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain business relations with existing and new customers within the region, understanding their needs and identifying sales opportunities.
2. Achieve profitable growth by identifying market opportunities and establishing go-to-market strategies to increase market share and revenue.
3. Create an annual regional sales strategy to support growth initiatives.
4. Enhance Marlink brand awareness and positioning within the region.
5. Support the development of the Marlink product portfolio based on customer feedback.
6. Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, up to C-level.
7. Report market activities, needs, and trends to the VP of Sales Europe North.
8. Engage with strategy and marketing teams to develop market engagement strategies, plan events, and promote solutions.
Required Experience and Knowledge
* Experience selling telecommunications, IT managed services, technology, or security solutions.
* Understanding of and ability to sell integrated, managed solutions based on value.
* 8-10 years of successful experience in services-based selling, particularly complex deals.
* Experience with modern selling concepts (as-a-Service) and resolving complex issues creatively.
* Independent, detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
