The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to work within Zurich Resilience Solutions UK, leading and developing a new Advisory team. ZRS is seeking a commercially driven leader who will be responsible for developing and implementing consultative sales and market strategies. The role requires clear vision and strategy, a leader who can build a consulting culture and capability, shaping high‑impact solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders and building external relationships.
What will you be doing?
* Lead & inspire a high‑performing team – mentor and empower consultants, ensuring alignment with Zurich’s values and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
* Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to clients in the UK, helping the team build deep understanding of client business objectives and risk landscapes.
* Oversee end‑to‑end client engagement – from needs assessment to proposal development, negotiation and closing.
* Drive revenue growth and develop new customers and partnerships, building a strong pipeline through industry networks and market insights.
* Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with Zurich teams—including technical experts, underwriters and account executives—to co‑create bespoke, value‑driven resilience strategies.
* Support the team in establishing long‑term connections with C‑suite and senior decision‑makers.
* Guide the team in delivering impactful presentations, workshops and consultative sessions, simplifying complex risk topics into actionable recommendations.
* Lead continuous learning and innovation, keeping abreast of industry developments, market trends and Zurich’s evolving offerings.
What are we looking for?
* Senior level sales, consulting & advisory experience
* Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring ability
* Revenue growth & budget management, preferably in a P&L setting
* Advanced leadership & negotiation skills
* Ability to engage C‑suite executives
* Strong stakeholder and market relationship management
* Excellent presentation skills
* Experienced people leader
* Knowledge in risk assessment, thought leadership & insight
