About Us

Our client is a forward‑looking organisation driving the energy transition by delivering resilient water and energy solutions across utilities, energy producers, and industrial users. The mission centers on safer operations, enhanced efficiency, and decarbonization through rigorous, data‑driven decision making. We partner with leadership to co‑create strategies that balance technical feasibility with commercial impact, foster collaboration, and sustain responsible resource stewardship.

Job Description

As the Practise Lead for Water, you will helm a cross‑disciplinary program targeting water assets, treatment, and optimisation within the energy, utilities, and waste sectors. You will shape the portfolio roadmap, align capabilities with client priorities, and guide a team of engineers and consultants to deliver defensible, high‑value recommendations. End-to-end accountability covers discovery through delivery with emphasis on risk governance, value realisation, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

* Set the strategic direction for the water practice and define portfolio priorities aligned to market demand and business objectives.
* Head multi‑disciplinary squads to engineer treatment, reuse, and recovery solutions for power generation, refining, and industrial operations.
* Implement program‑level governance around delivery, risk monitoring, and stakeholder communications.
* Expand the practice through targeted hiring, mentorship, and capability development across hydraulics, treatment, and water resources.
* Collaborate with clients to translate water challenges into executable programs with measurable outcomes.
* Monitor regulatory trends and ensure safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship across programs.

Requirements

* Extensive background in water asset management, treatment, and water resources engineering within energy, utilities, or processing sectors.
* Proven leadership and program delivery experience, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
* Strong stakeholder management with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
* Experience in building, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing teams.
* Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with relevant software, data tools, and modeling approaches.
* Relevant professional registrations or certifications related to water resources or environmental engineering.

Benefits

* Competitive compensation with performance‑driven bonuses
* Flexible work options and remote collaboration
* Structured career progression and continuous learning opportunities
* Health, dental, and vision coverage
* Contributory pension plan and life assurance
* Dynamic, collaborative environment with supportive leadership
