Description
We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join our Base Maintenance team. This is a key leadership role responsible for coordinating base maintenance activities and resources, including technical manpower, to deliver aircraft maintenance operations in line with company and regulatory airworthiness standards.
As part of the Base Senior Management Team, you will lead and manage shift employees, maintenance facilities, and support resources, ensuring operational excellence and safety at all times.

What you'll be doing
* Lead and manage a base maintenance shift to deliver scheduled maintenance plans.
* Provide day-to-day leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving for shift-related issues.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
* Certify servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval.
* Drive team culture, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage recruitment and development of shift personnel.
* Respond effectively to AOG situations and emergency drills.
* Contribute to departmental projects and strategic direction.
What you'll bring
* UK CAA Maintenance Licence holder, capable of holding A330 C Certification Authorisation.
* Proven experience managing multi-disciplined teams in an aviation engineering environment.
* Strong background in production planning and scheduling heavy maintenance inputs on Airbus wide-body aircraft.
* Ability to make decisions under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in industry data suites and Microsoft Office applications.
