Role Overview
The New Test will play a key role in supporting our accountancy functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a growing organisation within the health and care sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
* Support month‑end and year‑end accounting processes, including reconciliations and ledger entries.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and timely payments.
* Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to aid strategic decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accountancy standards and legislation.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing best practices.
* Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
* Relevant qualifications in accountancy (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards certification.
* Previous experience in accountancy or finance roles, preferably within healthcare or related industries.
* Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
