Job Summary


The role would require you to provide technical tooling solutions to new and existing customers in the South, South West & Midlands. Combining technical and sales skills on a range of products for our market. Also providing tailored solutions that meet our customers’ needs.

This is ideal for someone with engineering experience / qualification with the motivation and drive to sell, or someone with an existing sales background with the ability to learn technical tooling products.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


· Sell Punch Press and Press Brake tools, plus Xtra accessories to sheet metal companies

within the territory.

· This is a field-based role, with the expectation of making an average of 25 customer visits per week.

· Generation of own leads to build your customer base.

· Provide technical sales and post sales support.

· Build and maintain good relationships with customers

· Close tooling packages with customers buying new Punch Press and Press Brake machines.

· Maintain and update the customer CRM database.

· Identify and provide customers with solutions to their tooling and sheet metal problems.

· Gain knowledge of the market and competitors.

· Continuously improve product knowledge.

· Stay updated on market knowledge.

· Create and nurture your network to supply Wilson Tool with early information of live machine projects.

· Assist the UK & Ireland Sales Manager in planning for growth and development of the territory and suggest ideas for increasing its sales and market share.

Competencies



· A sales background with the ability to learn and retain product knowledge / or an engineering background / qualification with the drive and motivation to learn selling techniques.

· Sheet metal knowledge / experience preferable.

· Effective communicator, both written and verbal.

· Microsoft office skills essential.

· High social confidence with the ability to ask, tell, present, persuade and confront.

· Goal orientated, with determination to achieve.

· Self-motivated, with a professional approach.

· Full, clean driving license essential to conduct the role.
