We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Solicitor to join our fast-paced Representation Team in Aberdeenshire. The Advice & Representation Teams protect the Council's interests in Courts and Tribunals and provide cohesive and proactive legal advice across all Services and to Elected Members.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of legal topics including Education, Employment, Community Care, Housing, Anti-Social Behaviour, Permanence and Child Protection, ensuring no two days are the same. Requirements
This post requires a Disclosure Scotland Check and where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
