Key Responsibilities
Work together with team (Area Leaders and Multiscan Technician)
Responsible for bringing the raw material to the production lines and make sure the right raw material is supplied to the right job sheet. Move the pallets back to cold store once production has finished that order.
Report to the production manager or area leader if any pallet of raw material is unsafe to move, this applies to any circumstances
Responsible for updating the pallets location as you move them
Ensure pallets have the correct quantity and traceability barcode before moving them. Report discrepancies to Area Leaders.
Work with the Section Production Manager to ensure the daily work plan is covered
Be proactive and assist in the development and portrayal of a strong and cohesive team
Due to the nature of the role ensure you wear protective PPE, including jacket and safety hat (provided by the company). Job involves moving pallets in cold areas
Keep your work area clean and tidy
Be able to work reasonable additional hours during busy periods to assist with the productivity of the Packhouse
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· PPT license
· Good Standard of Maths and English
· Ideally level 2 Food Safety
· Ideally extensive experience of food hygiene procedures and health & safety practices
· Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
· Excellent organisational skills
· IT Skills: scan guns to be used, and Prophet (our system database)
· Ability to multi task and prioritise workload accordingly
· Flexible and pro-active to achieve KPI's
· Excellent personal hygiene standards
