Role Overview
A well-regarded primary school in Leyland is seeking a motivated KS1 Teacher to take on a full classroom role until July 2026. This position suits a teacher who is passionate about early literacy, numeracy and supporting children during a key stage of development.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Teaching a KS1 class and delivering high-quality lessons
* Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
* Maintaining clear routines and positive behaviour strategies
* Assessing progress and contributing to pupil reports
* Liaising with parents and school staff as required
What We’re Looking For
* QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
* Recent experience within a mainstream primary school
* Confidence teaching phonics and early maths
* A proactive and reliable approach to long-term teaching
