The Roles: Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting two Wellbeing Support Assistants on a permanent basis. Roles are available from November 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). One role will be based in the Junior School at Queensferry Road and the other at Mary Erskine School at Ravelston. The positions are term-time, full-time (37.5 hours per week).
Responsibilities
* Provide reactive and planned support to specific children or groups with pastoral needs across the Junior, Middle and Senior School.
* Facilitate wellbeing and integration of pupils into school activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Experience working with children with additional needs and supporting teaching staff in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
Eligibility
* ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate must demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
