GNS Communications are looking for a Fibre Team Manager to manage and oversee our growing field operations
Are you a results-driven leader ready to take ownership of field operations and drive a high-performing team? As a Field-Based Team Manager, you won't just manage—you'll be the technical expert and motivational force behind your crews, ensuring every project is executed to the highest standards. You will directly control team performance, guarantee financial and operational excellence, and be accountable for delivering against critical KPI targets.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Lead from the Front: Provide hands-on, active leadership on site to manage field activity, motivate the crews, and relentlessly drive superior performance and output.
* Optimize and Deliver: Monitor daily completion rates and leverage team experience to boost efficiency, ensuring we consistently meet or exceed all internal KPIs, SLAs, and monthly delivery goals.
* Be the Hub: Maintain clear and robust communication channels, acting as the vital bridge between the company and the field crews. Ensure all critical project data is accurately and promptly updated in company systems.
* Solve Problems: Be the first point of contact to resolve team issues, handle client complaints, and address concerns quickly and professionally, minimizing inconvenience and maintaining strong relationships.
* Develop Talent: Proactively identify and address the training and development needs of your team to ensure their skills remain sharp and they feel fully supported.
* Ensure Safety First: Champion a culture of safety, ensuring you and your entire team strictly adhere to all health and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience of telecommunications PIA network build and maintenance.
* NRSWA
* Excellent communiation skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £180.00-£230.00 per day
Work Location: In person
