Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Develop and prepare detailed structural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
* Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to create efficient system designs for construction projects.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
* Prepare project documentation including reports, specifications, and drawings.
* Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
* Utilise project management skills to coordinate tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field is essential.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Mathcad, Revit, MicroStation, and CAD is required.
* Previous experience in construction or structural engineering projects is highly desirable.
* Strong mathematical skills and a solid understanding of engineering principles are necessary for success in this role.
* Excellent communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
