This is a key leadership role based in the Exeter office, offering scope to shape and grow the regional Corporate Finance presence. You'll be part of a collaborative senior leadership team and work alongside experienced professionals in M&A, debt advisory, and due diligence. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a broad range of Corporate Finance transactions, including M&A, MBOs, equity and debt fundraising, due diligence, and strategic advisory work
* Serve as a senior point of contact for clients throughout the deal lifecycle, providing commercially focused and innovative advice
* Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality project delivery within time-sensitive deadlines
* Develop and maintain strong networks, proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities
* Mentor and lead a team of Corporate Finance professionals, supporting their development and contributing to a positive team culture
* Collaborate with Partners and Directors across the firm to drive the Corporate Finance service line forward
* Contribute to the wider strategy and leadership of the Exeter office and advisory division
* Stay up to date with market trends and maintain a strong commercial understanding of key sectors and funding environments
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience in Corporate Finance
* Strong track record of leading successful M&A and other advisory transactions
* Previous experience managing and growing a Corporate Finance team or function
* Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple live transactions
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
* Commercially astute with a strong understanding of deal structures, valuation, funding, and transaction processes
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, people-led environment
