Real Estate Transaction and Compliance Analyst

Description/Job Summary
To provide support to the Real Estate M&A team including transaction related compliance and general administration tasks.
Responsibilities/Duties
* Responsible for end-to-end delivery of transaction-related compliance workstreams on private equity M&A transactions (including ABC, Cyber and ESG due diligence and KYC)
* Collating transaction-related information from legal counsel and client deal teams for the purposes of completing compliance and KYC checks
* Reviewing due diligence summaries prepared by legal counsel prior to submission to the client
* Completion of transaction-related compliance reports for submission to client at the end of each transaction
* General oversight of entire compliance process, with responsibility for updating and improving process in line with updates to applicable regulation/legislation and client requirements
* Assist with resolving compliance/regulatory issues that arise on transactions as part of due diligence or KYC processes
* Update trackers and run weekly client calls to update client on workstream status across multiple transactions
* General administration tasks and other ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills
* Law degree is essential
* 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential
* Strong time and task management skills
* Should be very organised and methodical in approach to work
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate issues promptly
* Demonstrate a sense of urgency and solid work ethic
* Capable of working independently, while remaining a strong team player
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in compliance and real estate industry
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in office, ability to WFH on Fridays
