Commissioning Engineer – 1-2 years experience – Automotive – West Midlands based – Permanent – Hybrid – £30-38k + car or car allowance + annual bonus + site uplift/overtime
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer with some experience of commissioning PLC / SCADA systems. This role could suit a graduate with 1-2 years relevant experience.
Key aspects of the Commissioning Engineer position include;
* Software commissioning of existing PLC code & SCADA systems
* Commissioning Engineer will learn how to build solutions from existing templates, programming to develop new functionality to existing systems
* Commissioning Engineer will build knowledge on System configuration and testing knowledge – client’s systems typically based on Siemens TIA Portal or Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5000
* Commissioning Engineer role will suit someone who is open to travel and spending time away on customer sites. Office is located in Warwickshire; the successful Commissioning Engineer will split their development time between the office and home and then spend extended periods working on customer sites across the UK.
* Any knowledge of Siemens WinCC and/or Wonderware InTouch / AVEVA System Platform would be ideal SCADA experience
* Clients’ offices are based in Warwickshire so would ideally be based within a sensible commuting time
* Site work will include delivering solutions in shutdown periods over Easter and Summer holidays
The ideal profile is to have come from an Electrical Engineering background and to have developed your skills within test and commissioning. You will be dealing with customers on client site, have a flexible approach to your work, can work under pressure and be self-motivated.

The office element to the Commissioning Engineer role (which will be limited) will be based in Warwickshire and is commutable from the following places – Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Redditch, Nuneaton, Rugby, Daventry and Northampton.
