* Own how the o9 platform is modelled, configured, and optimised to support enterprise-scale planning.
* Influence design standards, performance tuning, and overall solution quality across multiple planning modules and releases.
* Contribute to building a future-ready o9 platform with new modules, advanced analytics, and AI-driven capabilities.
The Role
* Act as the overall technical owner of the o9 platform, ensuring scalable, stable, and high-performing solution design.
* Translate complex business and functional requirements into robust technical architecture within o9.
* Define technical standards, guardrails, and best practices for o9 model design and platform usage.
Your responsibilities:
* Own o9 technical architecture, including model structure, rules, hierarchies, measures, and calculation logic.
* Define and enforce technical design standards, performance guidelines, and naming conventions across o9 modules.
* Mentor technical consultants and review solution designs to maintain high engineering quality.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Strong hands-on experience as a Technical Architect or Lead Developer on o9 implementations.
* Deep knowledge of o9 model design, including dimensions, hierarchies, measures, rules, and calculation logic.
* Proven experience in performance tuning, model optimization, and handling large data volumes within planning platforms.
* Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, working closely with functional and delivery teams.
* Experience working in enterprise, multi-vendor environments with strong governance and quality expectations.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Experience working in UK retail or consumer-facing planning environments.
* Exposure to multiple o9 modules (MFP, Demand, Supply, Assortment).
* Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, non-functional requirements, and production support models.
* Experience coaching or mentoring junior technical consultants.
