Community Trauma Facilitator/Trainer Belfast - Shankill 30 hours per week Fixed Term until November 2026 (Under Review) Salary - £29 305.60 Main Task To contribute to the success of the Healing Together by assisting with the development and delivery of group work in communities and to build relationships with a wide range of local stakeholders Project Tasks Build open and effective communications with a wide range of community leaders and stakeholders. To quickly establish a rapport with identified discrete groups of community participants who have an interest in collective trauma. To provide regular and frequent high quality and sensitive community groupwork with those interested in collective trauma. To provide a variety of engagement techniques to suit a range of learning and participation. To apply the new learning into Community Trauma practice Essential Criteria A Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline e.g.; social work or community development; community relations; youth work plus 2 years experience working in community. OR Applicants with 5 years paid experience in the community but do not hold a degree. Able to travel to meet the requirements of the post without reliance on public transport. Demonstrate a track record in successfullybuilding effective relationships with community groups. And with communities experiencing socio-economic difficulties and other affected civic stakeholders Track record of delivering training Be available for evening or weekend work as required.
