Job Role: Team Leader – Nights

Job Description:
Johnston Way, located in North Lisburn, is a Registered Domiciliary Care Agency and Positive Behaviour Support Service (PBS) which consists of 2 dwellings, each for four people. The service offers a person-centred approach for service-users with Learning Disabilities and related needs. The Service operates under the PBS Framework, providing 24-hour care and support.
As Team Leader, you will be part of the management team, supporting the Registered Manager to meet the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (NI) 2007 and DHSS&PS Standards. You will help develop and implement personalised care/support plans and risk assessments, ensuring quality care delivery. You will also assist with managing budgets and resources, mentor and supervise support staff, and provide direct care to Service Users.
Requirements:
* Professional Social Work qualification, registered or eligible for registration with NISCC.
* Or a first-level registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
* Or a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC.
* Or a relevant Degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Care) registered or eligible for registration with NISCC.
* Or a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent, registered or eligible with NISCC.
Additional requirements include:
* At least two years' experience in social care support/care.
* Knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities.
* Experience managing behaviours that challenge and related risks.
* Effective communication and IT skills.
