Job Description
Some more brief responsibilities of a Service Engineer are:
* To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers.
* To observe, abide by and enforce the Company’s and client’s Health & Safety policies.
* To provide on-site corrective /preventative maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support.
* Carry out commissioning work
* Timely completion and submission of risk assessments work reports, time sheets and all other documentation
* Timely completion of site tasks and activities as required.
* To propose and undertake any relevant training approved by your line manager
* Gather site information and compile site log-books for customers, maintain and audit.
Qualifications
General requirements for the role:
* Mechanical/ Electrical/Chemical Engineering qualification.
* A full UK driving licence is required.
* Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and willing to learn and develop.
* Knowledge and experience of the company products, applications and markets is desirable.
* Knowledge and experience in water treatment is desirable.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers.
* Able to handle challenging conversations with customers and find a resolution.
* Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
* Demonstrable experience of having built strong working relationships both internally and externally.
* A good level of IT competency.
* Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
