FRA Carpenter
Location: All regions of London and outskirts (home-based start)
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Following the Fire Safety Regulations 2022, it became a legal requirement from 23 January 2023 to carry out annual inspections on all fire doors in multi-occupied residential buildings over 11 metres in height.
As part of our dedicated Fire Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and maintaining the safety of our residents across London and surrounding areas.

Your Impact in the RoleReporting to the Fire Safety Supervisor, you will:
Carry out fire door inspections in line with current regulations
Evaluate fire doors for correct installation, maintenance and repair
Undertake minor repairs and frame adjustments where required
Accurately document findings using a PDA device
Deliver works in line with corporate targets and safety standards
Provide excellent service with a strong focus on resident satisfaction
You will cover all regions of London and the outskirts, starting and finishing from your home address.
What You’ll BringWe are looking for someone with:
Specialist experience in hanging fire doors, fire door sets and second fix carpentry
Strong knowledge of fire door maintenance
Working knowledge of the building and maintenance trades environment
Sound understanding of job-related Health & Safety
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service
A valid UK Manual Driving Licence (essential)
