Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Support & Child Protection Team for the London Borough of Bexley.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of children in need, child protection and pre-proceedings cases.
* Undertake single assessments and risk assessments to inform planning and intervention.
* Initiate and progress Section 47 enquiries where safeguarding concerns are identified.
* Prepare and present reports for child protection conferences and court proceedings.
* Develop clear, outcome-focused plans that safeguard children and promote positive change.
* Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
* Ensure all case recording is accurate and completed within statutory timescales.

* Hybrid working
Pay Rate:
* £37.52 p/h Umb
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care
* Experience within Family Support, Child in Need and Child Protection teams
* Social Work England Registration
* Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and London Child Protection procedures
