Job Description
1. Ensuring all funds are managed according to client, regulatory and internal risk management guidelines.
2. Carrying out investigative work and department reporting is carried out accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
3. Manage, prioritise and authorise GMC’s systematic development to ensure the team is monitoring in line with business requirements.
GMC Monitoring
4. Ensuring the Pre and Post Trade requirements from all IMA/Regulatory/client guidelines for funds are captured in Bloomberg AIM and Charles River
5. Review and challenge of all related pre and post trade output and appropriate critique of results
6. Question and challenge contradictory/inappropriate guideline proposals/amendments
7. On-going maintenance and improvement of the GMC monitoring processes with a focus on standardisation and automation
8. Ensuring Senior Managers are kept informed of all progress and issues
9. Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with GMC team members and key stakeholders
10. Maintaining an open and effective dialogue with Fund Managers in relation to monitoring issues, reporting and client changes
Client service
11. Thorough review and interpretation of client guidelines
12. Sign off processes and procedures followed
13. Development of key stakeholder working relationships
14. Knowledge of client products and rationale behind investment
Qualifications Professional Requirements
15. Relevant industry experience in market trade compliance management
16. A solid understanding of the investment process
17. Knowledge of markets and products/strategies/regulatory environments
18. Intermediate level of experience in Excel
19. Ideally some Charles River Exposure or knoledge.

21. Strong communication skills – especially in relation to fund managers and client teams
