Job Title: Ward Host / Customer Service Assistant (CSA) Location: Hospital Setting NG17 Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour Shifts: 14:30 – 18:30 (could alter). Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (including mornings, late afternoons and weekends) DBS Requirement: Basic or Enhanced DBS required Training: Full induction provided on your first day About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Ward Host / Customer Service Assistant to join our hospital team. This is a patient-facing role where you will play a key part in supporting patients by delivering meals and providing excellent customer service within a ward environment. Key Responsibilities Serving meals and beverages to patients in a timely and professional manner Assisting patients with menu choices where required Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times Collecting meal trays and maintaining cleanliness within the ward area Providing friendly and compassionate customer service to patients and staff Following hospital policies and health & safety procedures Skills & Experience Required Essential Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills Ability to work as part of a team Good time management and organizational skills Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards Reliable, punctual and professional attitude Previous experience in a hospital, care, catering or customer service environment Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen awareness What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of £12.21 Full induction and on-the-job training Supportive team environment Opportunity to gain experience within a healthcare setting If you are caring, reliable, and enjoy helping others, we would love to hear from you.
