Overview
Occupational Therapist – Perth & Kinross Council
Location: Crieff Area Housing Office, with base in Crieff and optional council hub in Perth. Hybrid working with some home/base flexibility. Full-time, 36 hours per week (permanent).
Responsibilities
* Undertake comprehensive assessments for children and adults in the community.
* Arrange provision of equipment, adaptations, and community supports to enable independence.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Assistants, Social Care, District Nursing, Community Mental Health, and related services.
* Travel across Perth and Kinross to deliver services as required.
Skills & Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
* 2 years post-qualification experience is highly desirable.
* Valid UK driving licence; ability to travel to multiple locations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication; strong assessment and organisational skills.
* Experience in Moving and Handling is essential; Edge Training or RoSPA 4 (SHC) desirable.
