Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Nursery Practitioners at Clevelands Preparatory School, based in Bolton. The role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in the Early Years setting. Daily responsibilities include supporting children’s learning and development, implementing age-appropriate educational activities, maintaining accurate records of children’s progress, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. The successful candidate(s) will also ensure adherence to all safeguarding, health, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children in an Early Years setting, along with a qualification in childcare or equivalent.
* Understanding of child development, with strong skills in planning and implementing activities that promote learning and personal growth.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff effectively.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare requirements in childcare settings.
* Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports the emotional, social, and educational needs of children.
* Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic approach to working in a school environment.
* Paediatric first aid certification is beneficial but not required.
* Experience in independent schools or Early Years education is an advantage.
