Overview
Trainee/Graduate Insurance Broker - Management Liability. Our Financial & Professional Liability (FINPRO) division is currently seeking a talented individual to join their Management Liability team in the Norwich office. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days a week in the office.
The role would suit an individual who is genuinely looking to build a career in the insurance industry. While previous insurance/office experience would be ideal, full training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Develop risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to create placement solutions that meet client needs.
* Support the implementation of the placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
* Develop the go-to-market strategy and articulate the value of placement function; participate in pricing of services as applicable.
* Bind coverage and ensure the accuracy of placement binders.
* Create and maintain relationships within your practice, insurance markets, clients, and underwriters to provide cohesive client service.
* Advise on changing insurance and risk management market conditions and inform client executives, client advisors, and/or clients of major developments affecting various products/coverage.
* Interface closely with client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production.
* Drive placement/technical support activities on assigned accounts, including procedural compliance, data reviews, updating renewal exhibits, and maintaining accurate placement system entries to ensure contract execution as required.
* Advise management about client issues or trends and participate in the development of solutions.

* Diligence, accuracy and the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure
* A problem-solving mentality
* Pride in maintaining high professional standards and an appetite to challenge the status quo to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients
* Good standard of education
* Competent in Microsoft Office
