An opportunity has opened within our Neurology Specialist Nurses team for a full-time Band 6 Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Specialist Nurse position. Training will be provided for anyone with a background in Neurology, though this is not essential.
The role involves working in an outpatient environment and requires good communication, organisational and autonomous working skills. You will provide comprehensive patient care and support, helping to improve quality of life by educating patients on symptom management and offering support after diagnosis. You will also serve as a resource for other healthcare professionals.
You will always promote a high standard of professional care while upholding the Trust values. You will develop, implement and evaluate care packages for MS patients and act as a role model to support a compassionate, inclusive culture and the NNUH ‘PRIDE’ values.
