Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and vibrant 11–19 secondary school located in the historic market town of Brigg, North Lincolnshire.
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic Assistant Premises Supervisor to support the day-to-day maintenance and operations of our busy school site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the opening and closing of the school premises.
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across the site.
- Support site security, cleanliness, and safe access for students, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and undertake routine Health & Safety checks and record keeping.
- Respond to maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Work alongside the Premises Supervisor to ensure the site remains safe, clean, and fit for purpose.
The successful candidate will:
-Be physically fit and able to undertake a range of manual tasks.
- Have practical experience and skills in general maintenance, repair, and caretaking duties.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and take pride in maintaining a safe and pleasant school environment.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in a school setting.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the wellbeing of pupils and staff.
Previous experience in a similar role or in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
