Job purpose
The accurate and efficient assembly of customer orders, replenishment, ferrying and bulk storage control within the depot.
Key Accountabilities
* Receipt of deliveries in accordance with delivery schedules
* Safe storage of stock within the warehouse facility
* Accurate processing and assembly of customer orders
* Report stock shortages to all stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
* Conducting stock taking activity in accordance with planned schedules
* Safe, accurate loading and unloading of commercial vehicles in accordance with client service schedules
* Report vehicle defects to line manager
* Ensure forklift trucks are maintained and repaired to agreed service schedules
* Responsible for depot housekeeping and other warehousing functions
