Overview
We are seeking an experienced surveyor in the double glazing industry. Able to measure all forms of windows and doors, UPVC and aluminium. From box sash to bays, experience in this field is paramount. On top of this, we require someone personable, preferably with experience in sales/ dealing with people, as part of the job will include consultancy appointments, door to door sales and interacting with other companies in the industry.
There will also be a commission based bonus system in place for sales leads.
Duties
* Surveying jobs for a large part of the week, ensuring detailed survey reports are created without mistakes.
* Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional service at all times.
* Present and promote products effectively, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the product range to answer customer queries confidently.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and increased productivity
* Follow up on leads and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Requirements
* Proven experience in surveying.
* Proven experience in a sales role or customer service environment is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory and displays.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
