Job Details
* Location: Bolton College (Deane Road Campus)
* Contract Type: Temporary / Agency (short-term & long-term placements)
* Hours: Full-time, part-time, and sessional opportunities available
* Start Date: Ongoing (depending on college needs)
* Pay: Competitive hourly or daily rates (dependent on experience and assignment)
Areas of Specialism
We are recruiting for the following construction trades:
* Brickwork
* Carpentry & Joinery
* Plumbing
* Electrical Installation
* Painting & Decorating
* Plastering
* Multi-skills / Construction Operations
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging practical and classroom based lessons
* Plan, prepare, and assess learner progress
* Support and motivate students to achieve their potential
* Maintain a safe and professional learning environment
* Adapt quickly to different classes, courses, and assignment lengths
* Uphold college standards and safeguarding requirements
Essential Requirements
* Strong industry experience within a construction trade
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one
* Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and short term assignments
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A passion for supporting learners in Further Education
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
* Previous FE teaching, training, or apprenticeship delivery experience
* Experience delivering City & Guilds, NVQs, or T Level qualifications
* Assessor/IQA qualifications
* Experience working in temporary or agency education roles
